We're excited to announce our 2015 Schedule kickoff starting in Utah! We'll be coming to Salt Lake City's South Towne Expo Center April 24-25th from 9AM-8PM on both days. This will be a two-day event combining entertainment with the world of Prepping, Survival, and Outdoor Enthusiasts. We're your one stop shop for all things Prepping & Survival.
PrepperCon will showcase training, education, fundamentals, self-defense, survival, food storage, first aid, gadgets, gear, and networking alongside the most entertaining atmosphere you could imagine in the Prepping industry. With all of the excitement and energy of a Comic Con, we have hands-on classes, celebrity speakers, panels, disaster simulations, fashion shows, and contests. This is the PREMIER prepper convention in Utah. The event is geared to be informative, motivational, entertaining, and include celebrities, a chef’s food storage cook-off, bug-out gear fashion show, and a zombie apocalypse costume contest and tons of door prizes!

Food Storage Cook-off - Starts Friday 1:00pm
Are you the best Post-Apocalyptic Chef in your neighborhood? Are you up for the most challenging hour of cooking you may ever encounter? If you think you can win with the tastiest meal made from food storage ingredients, then sign up for a chance to win more than $2,000.00 in Food Storage from Wise Company!
We're currently looking for four of the most creative
home-cooks to compete head-to-head with our
selection of food storage ingredientes in an Iron Chef
style cook-off. Even those eliminated will receive up
to $500 in prizes for their culinary efforts. 1st round
competitions take place on Friday at 1:00pm and
Saturday at 9:30am. The final showdown takes place
on Saturday at 2:30pm.

PREPPERFASH Fashion Show
This is not a high fashion event from France. This is a "get all your gear over here, practical to tactical fun for all fashion show." Have you ever wondered how you or your kids would look in a hazmat suit? What about camo, extreme cold weather gear or really cool tactical clothing? PrepperFash showcases all of this plus durable goods and gear that will help you survive the apocalypse while still looking good.
Runway times:
Friday 5:00pm, Saturday 1:00pm and 5:00pm
Costume Contest - Friday 7:00pm
Why so serious? Preparing for disasters and life's challenges doesn't have to be so doom and gloom! PrepperCon embraces the lighter side of prepping and the apocalyptic entertainment genre. Whether you're a closet zombie, special forces zombie hunter, apocalyte survivor, steam punk innovater, or Hunger Games huntress, we want to see your costume! We extend the invitation to all attendees of PrepperCon to wander around and do their shopping dressed in their Apocalypse/Doomsday themed Cosplay attire. If you'd like a chance to win a prize for your creation- like a $100 gift certificate from Scheels- then don't forget to check-in at the main stage early before the Costume Contest at 7pm on Friday! Walk the runway and get on your Doomsday strut to convince our Walking Dead celebrity judges why you should win!
* All ages may participate in the contest. Please no real firearms, real bladed weapons, or spears allowed. Prop weapons will be screened at the door.
